Solving Service Dog Problems

Solving Service Dog Problems

This program is dedicated to solving service dog problems. They could be related to tasks or behaviors. It does not matter where your service dog came from. It could be from a program organization, another service dog company that can’t or won’t help, or was owner-trained.

We are able to offer this unique service due to our extensive experience and training skills. Sarah is a Certified Master Trainer with over 10 years of experience training professional service dogs. Ralf is a TWC Certified Professional Dog Trainer, with over 17 years of experience addressing behavioral and training-related challenges.

During our consultation, we will get a full picture of your service dog’s current status. That will allow us to design a custom training plan for solving your service dog problems. After our consultation, we will send you a written proposal. There are four possible outcomes from our consultation call:

You Can Fix The Problem Yourself

We believe you and your service dog are essentially a successful team and with some guidance, you will be able to address your challenges on your own. This is your ideal scenario for solving your service dog problems. We can provide the guidance either through Zoom (available worldwide) or in-person sessions (only available if you are local). This will either result in a fixed-price session package or a monthly, virtual coaching package for a couple of weeks or months.

We Can Fix The Problem Through Board & Train

We believe we can be of help in solving your service dog problems, but don’t believe you can do it yourself. In this scenario, your service dog would have to stay with us for several months. We would be in regular contact during this time and also provide training videos of how your dog is doing (usually one video per week). This would involve getting your dog to us. There are several options for making that happen.

We Need To See Your Dog In-Person

We believe we may be able to be of help in solving your service dog problems but need to perform a thorough in-person evaluation to be certain. These evaluations are usually one week in duration and cost $750. After the evaluation week, your dog could move directly into a board and train program, if the outcome of the evaluation makes that our recommendation and if you want to move forward. This would involve getting your dog to us. There are several options for making that happen.

We Believe Your Dog Has To Be Replaced

We don’t believe your service dog can continue to work and should be replaced. This is obviously not what you want to hear. But we would not want you to spend money to try solving your service dog problems if we don’t believe it is fixable. This doesn’t mean you couldn’t find someone else who would be happy to take your money. But we have a reputation for reliable service dogs and would not be part of this attempt. We could discuss getting a replacement service dog trained in this case if you were interested.
