My Diary of a Service Dog Trainer
Sarah's Service Dog Training Diary
My Diary of a Service Dog Trainer is my personal blog about service dog experiences in the field. If you are interested in getting your own service dog, you have come to the right place! We are experienced service dog trainers and can help you with any service dog request.
For many of our clients, we train a service dog from puppyhood. This board-and-train program is our flagship service. However, we also evaluate the service dog potential of existing pets or rescue dogs.
If you have legal questions about service dogs, please check the ADA Regulations for Service Dogs.
I hope you enjoy reading My Diary of a Service Dog Trainer. Once you’re ready to move forward, please use our service dog contact form to schedule your free consultation.
People use wheelchairs for many different reasons. I need a wheelchair due to spinal cord damage; sometimes, my legs don’t listen to what my brain tells them. I also suffer from chronic pain. Not all of my disabilities are visible, but I limp due to my injuries. My limping severity varies based on my pain level.
Every year, during domestic violence awareness month, I try to muster the guts to share my story because I am a survivor. 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men have experienced physical, emotional, mental, or sexual abuse by an intimate partner. Sharing that I am a DV survivor is embarrassing because of the attached stigma.
